My entry for the Seven Deadly Sins Contest.
I've chosen to use "Gluttony".
You are what you eat when your base desires, instinctive pleasure-seeking, and eventual obsession consumes all that you are.
In the process of falling victim to such addictions of the lower nature, the Self is then lost or transmutes into the subject of the obsession. In the case of
Gluttony, it is a metaphorical and almost literal cyclic consumption of Self; the vice or "sin" is driven by the object and not the subject.
In the end, you are eating yourself as perverted by the vice/sin.
I think this also applies to a lot of the issues we have in the United States regarding health, excessive consumption of fast food, and general disregard for nourishing the body properly and less synthetically.

EDIT-Technique Used: I feel it necessary to state that for this piece, I've simply traced/inked the stock photos and painted over them using the eyedropper tool so as to maintain accuracy with the original image but still give the feel of an illustration with smoother distribution of colours. For some, I did not even completely paint over them (such as the ham, raw meat, and roast pig). Of course, for the other aspects like the business suit and plate, I've illustrated those myself.

Thanks to everyone who has enjoyed this piece! :}

Also, thanks!
I've just personally always liked to depict slobbering, slovenly behaved pigs in business suits for some reason. Was nice to express it here.
Glad its enjoyable.
