Portrait of myself done in the middle of the 2011 year. When life began to get back on track...

Part of a training warm-up I did yesterday while beginning some sort of commissions I'd had pending for some time. :aww:

It feels like my best self-portrait to date. Not only does it physically represent my face accurately, but it represents myself on the inside as well (As a glorious weirdo). 8D

Tainted how so? As in the entirety of their mis-use during the Nazi Germany reign? Or improper use in most films? Eehehe.
That is indeed a shame, regardless. However, I do feel they represent something not only ethereal but anthropological as well as historical, too. That gives them some incredible power on a collectively subconscious level. :aww:

Understandable, but I think most people these days only associate negative things with the Sowilo rune. However, if you inform them of the truth, they are usually quick to correct their improper assumptions. :D
