Maybe my favorite piece in the collection. It is also one of my favorite fairy tales.

Thank you! It's also one of my favourites as well. Lots of interesting allusions and aspects to it (the tale).

Amazing style. Great technique and very interesting concept... it's quite rare to find this combination :)

I love her expression. The colours work very well too!

In a detailed and very personal view :D I have this feeling that, maybe, the hands should be a little bit more worked - like the dress, the hair and her face are -, just so it matches with the rest of the artwork.

Keep up the great work!

Thank you very much! Really. :aww:

I can see how more detailed hands could be nice as well, yes. If I were to edit this at some point, I'll give that a try as hands are very fun to illustrate. :}

Oh, omg! It's so rare to find someone that accept suggestions or/and don't get offended with that kind of comment... :D
And, you know, this work is perfect like that. What I said is more for like a future artwork that you do and such... :D
(me, I personaly hate to re-start/re-work in something that is "done" already cause there is aaalways something that you can fix, change, blabla... I have a serious problem with doing that... >.> but feedback are always good for "the next one", I guess...)

Aww, well it's sad that an artist wouldn't take a critique non-personally. When one allows the ego to get hurt in a learning process like that, the only person it hurts in the end is the artist.

No, I really appreciate all comments like that, especially when put so considerately. It is always helpful and, to me, shows a greater appreciation for the artwork than a mere, "oh cool" comment.

You are quite right! Also, I have a similar problem with over-doing it on some works, trying very hard to perfect tiny details that no one would notice, etc. Eehe. But, I prefer to have that problem than to not be able to see what needs changing. :}
