I heart the detail in the scales, you use Phtoshop Elements right? I am stuck with PhotoExplosion Deluxe :/ its mainly for phto editing not coloring pictures and drawing stuff.
I once had a pet Bearded Dragon, had to give him away 'cause of my cat though
And yep, Photoshop Elements is to what I've grown comfortable.. although, I used to use Open Canvas... but I can get the softer air-brushy feel in Photoshop for my shadows and highlights more easily and effectively.. to which I'm addicted heavily.
Aaha! So glad to know others that had Bearded Dragons. Mine were my best friends? Hehe. x} What was your's named?
Yeah shading is pretty important, without it they'd look like well drawn cartoon characters which wouldn't be correct good drawings deserve more.(except for mine of course I can't color worth owl pellets).
Aww, well, true in some cases of art; shadows and highlights are what MAKES the piece.

So you sy I'm on the right track, like I'm walking down the magical road for Supreme artisitic talent? I think that true, at least if you so my work from the previous school year (5th grade) I look back at it in disgust then I glance back at my recent peice and see fewer overal problems but still notice the areas I need to improve on. I think waht I need to do most is learn digital stuff better, I mean right now that's my smallest level of minute skill.
Oh and the fact I don't know like hardly any of the smilie codes also annoys me got to go look that up...
"Gravis" sounds all.. grizzly. I dig.
It is good you know what you need to work on, this is the first step to realizing artistic groovability.
Although, I would suggest working on what you know best first, before you delve into a new media.. or it may hinder your full ability in both medias.
And yeh, the different smilies can be tough to fully memorize. I still reference the Emoticon Legend.
So by focusing on my traditional semi-talent it would be better in the long run than working on Digital stuff, like if I went into the unknown I'd become out of practice in drawing? I think I get
I wish I could just click the smilie sympols on the side of the screen and dragon them to the text, it'd be a good update for DA.
And yep! Focus on one thing first, master it to a degree, and tackle the next thing.
